General Aviation

General Aviation (GA) encompasses a wide range of commercial and private activities, including private flying, flight training, air ambulance services, police aircraft operations, aerial firefighting, air evacuation missions, and more. Additionally, experimental and light-sport aircraft have emerged in recent years as part of the general aviation sector.

General Aviation plays a vital role in aviation as it covers diverse operations beyond military and scheduled airline flights. It encompasses a multitude of activities that cater to various needs, such as personal transportation, specialized services, and recreational flying. The flexibility and versatility of general aviation contribute to the accessibility and growth of aviation across different communities and industries.

Genral Aviation

SAC members can participate in aviation events and fly-ins. Exclusively for members, training requirements such as flight review, instrument proficincy check, or any profecinicy tailored training can be requested by contacting ops@sac.com.sa

Aircraft Rentals

For a wet rate of 1000 SAR, members can rent Cessna 172S with Garmin 1000 if meeting these requirements:

  1. Minimum FAA or GACA private pilot certificate
  2. Minimun of 150 hours total time
  3. Minimum 50 hours on C172
  4. Current medical certificate 3rd class
  5. Current flight review
  6. Complete and pass checkout flight.
