Fly-In

The term (fly in) refers to a group of flights in which aircraft owners participate with their own aircraft. These flights depart from Al-Thumama Airport and are heading to various regions inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The primary goal of these trips is to introduce the field of aviation and promote its science, by providing the opportunity for visitors to enter the airport grounds in different areas, see planes up close, gets on the plane, communicate with plane owners, answer their inquiries, and gain knowledge and valuable experiences among the pilots themselves and the participating public. Get souvenir photos for aviation enthusiasts for memorable moments.

The duration of these trips usually ranges from one to two days, as shown in a schedule announced each season.

The objectives of Fly-In flights

  • Encourage the aviation activities
  • Introducing the visitors of the region to the aviation culture and enabling them to experience flying
  • Supporting the activities of tourism for the region and promoting its programs
  • Encourage investment and attract investors to the field of general aviation
