General Aviation covers various commercial and private activities, including private flying, flight training, air ambulance, police aircraft, aerial firefighting, air evacuation, and others. Also, experimental and light-sport aircraft appeared in recent years within general aviation.

Sport aviation is a simple type of general aviation used for entertainment, not for military or commercial purposes.
Sport aviation contributes to supporting all categories of aviation enthusiasts with specific restrictions.
Participation in sport aviation is mainly limited to private flying and flight training to obtain a license.

Sport pilots fly light aircraft with a maximum capacity of two passengers,
such as:

• gliders
• gyrocopters, and light fixed-wing aircraft
• light fixed-wing aircraft

Paragliding is a recreational activity and a type of light sport aviation. Pilots fly non-engine aircraft known as (Gliders) which depend on the atmospheric air currents and help the aircraft remain stable.
