The FAI – World Air Sports Federation presented an appreciation award to H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, in recognition of his distinguished contributions to the aviation sector, his historic achievement as the first Arab astronaut, and his role in establishing the Club and advancing air sports in the Kingdom.

The award was presented during the meeting of the FAI Microlight and Paramotor Commission (CIMA), hosted in Riyadh, where Federation representatives expressed their appreciation for the sustained efforts that continue to support the development of general aviation and air sports and strengthen their regional and international presence.
