The International Air Sports Federation (FAI) has announced the opening of the electronic portal for registration for the 118th FAI General Conference, scheduled to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh KSA, from 19-21 November, 2024. This event coincides with the (Sand & Fun) Airshow, making it a unique opportunity to highlight the latest innovations in aviation and air sports.

The conference will bring together a group of experts and officials from more than 90 member countries of the Federation, where multiple ways to support and develop global air sports activities will be discussed. In addition, the conference will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge among participants and honoring the winners of various aviation championships and competitions.

This conference is the first of its kind to be held in the Middle East since the establishment of the Federation in 1905, reflecting the keenness of the Saudi Aviation Club to enhance the Kingdom's leading role in the aviation and air sports sector. Through this hosting, the Kingdom seeks to spread the culture of aviation and its sciences on a wider scale, and confirm its presence in international and regional forums.
