Due to the increase in operational activities at Thumama Airport (OETH), the number of aircraft has doubled, and in response to the desire of club members and aircraft owners and their repeated need for repair and maintenance services and the urgent need for this, which improves the quality and diversity of services provided, and what this requires in terms of the necessity of providing periodic inspection and maintenance services for aircraft registered in the Kingdom with the code (HZ) of various types, whether public or sports, in addition to providing the necessary spare parts required by members and aircraft owners.
From this standpoint, the Saudi Aviation Club was keen on the necessity of establishing an aircraft repair and maintenance center (MRO) at Thumama Airport (OETH), in order to support various maintenance and repair work for aircraft according to the highest standards of operational quality.
