HRH Sultan bin Salman meets & General Aviation Exhibition (Sand & Fun)

His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Aviation Club, met with a number of members and trainees at Al-Thumama Airport, On Saturday, June 29, 2024 and discussed with them several topics in the field of general aviation.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the expansion plans and construction works currently underway at Al-Thumama Airport, which aim to increase the operational efficiency of the airport, improve and develop facilities and services, and enhance the level of safety and quality.

His Highness the Prince was also briefed on the preparations and arrangements related to the General Aviation Exhibition (Sand & Fun) and the Kingdom's hosting of the 118th General Conference 2024 of the International Air Sports Federation (FAI), scheduled to be held on November 2024 in the capital, Riyadh KSA.

He praised the efforts made to ensure the success of this major event, he stressed the importance of hosting such events to enhance the Kingdom's position in the international aviation sector, and highlight the developments and achievements made in this field.
