Preparation work begins for the General Aviation Exhibition (Sand&Fun)

His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Aviation Club, signed a contract with Aeropact, a company specialized in air show management, On Wednesday, March 26, 2024, to implement the air show events track within the General Aviation Show (Sand&Fun), which will be held in its second edition at the headquarters of the Saudi Aviation Club at Al-Thumama Airport during the period from November 19-23, 2024.

The General Aviation Show (Sand&Fun), is going to held second time after the issuance of the generous approval to hold the exhibition within the Riyadh Track (32).

It is noteworthy that the first edition of the exhibition was inaugurated under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Emir of Riyadh Region, which was held at Thumamah Airport – OETH during the period from January 11-13, 2020, with the participation of more than 60 aircraft of various types and sizes, ground and air shows for aircraft, night acrobatic flight shows, and many diverse recreational activities related to aviation, with an attendance exceeding 20 thousand visitors.

The second edition of the Sand&Fun General Aviation Exhibition aims to feature more than 100 civil and military aircraft of various sizes and types, as well as unique and distinctive ground and air shows by several participating international aviation teams, with an attendance of more than 60,000 visitors.

The exhibition will include Hangar Talk workshops to discuss various aviation topics with the participation of aviation experts from around the world, educational and entertaining events for young people, and other accompanying events.
