SAC announced the date of General Aviation Exhibition (Sand & Fun Airshow) and hosting the General Conference 2024 of the World Air Sports Federation FAI

The Saudi Aviation Club has officially begun its preparations to hold the sixth General Aviation Exhibition (Sand & Fun) Airshow during November 2024 of this year at Al-Thumama Airport in the capital, Riyadh KSA.

As the General Aviation Exhibition will represent a unique and distinguished event at the level of the Kingdom to be the first destination for the world of aviation where amateurs and professionals of various aviation activities meet.

The Saudi Aviation Club, the official representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the membership of the International Air Sports Federation (FAI), is pleased to announce that the Kingdom will host the (118 th) General Conference 2024 of the Federation in conjunction with the date of the General Aviation Exhibition (Sand & Fun) Airshow.

The conference aims to discuss aspects of supporting global air sports activities, in addition to exchanging experiences and knowledge and transferring best practices, and honoring the winners of various aviation championships and competitions. Representatives of the member states of the Federation, more than 90 countries, will participate in the conference.

It is worth noting that this hosting comes for the first time in the Middle East since the establishment of the Federation in 1905 AD. This hosting comes as a result of the Saudi Aviation Club’s keenness to be present in all global and regional forums to enhance the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the aviation sector and air sports in particular, and to confirm the delivery of the Saudi Aviation Club’s message to spread the culture and sciences of aviation.
