Ground School

Ground school refers to specialized theoretical courses in the field of aviation and its related sciences, designed to enhance knowledge levels and emphasize operational safety aspects.

These courses encompass the theoretical knowledge necessary to pass the theory test required for obtaining a specific type of flight license. Successful completion of the theory test is one of the prerequisites for undertaking the practical flight license examination.

These courses are conducted in group settings, either in-person or online, by instructors authorized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and affiliated with Saudi Aviation Club (SAC).

  • One month (3 days a week except the weekend)
  • 10 PM – 12:00 AM (During Ramadan)

Payment Methods & Guidelines

Flight training expenses REQUESTED to be paid using the approved payment methods established by the Saudi Aviation Club's finance department. These methods include point of sales machines or wire transfers directly to the Saudi Aviation Club's ANB Bank account with the following details: SA7530400108012103990011

SAC only accept payments as indicated above.

It is essential to understand that the flight instructor's primary responsibility is your training. If you need to make payments for flight expenses, please coordinate with the Saudi Aviation Club's financial department or the designated person in charge at the airport. They will provide necessary guidance and support to ensure the proper completion of payment transactions.

Please note that the prices for all phases of the flight training program have been meticulously determined and officially displayed on the Saudi Aviation Club's official website. It is crucial to REPORT any rates or prices that DO NOT align with the information displayed on the Saudi Aviation Club's website.

It is important to be aware that the Saudi Aviation Club DOES NOT accept any responsibility for additional charges or amounts to be transferred to any account other than the Saudi Aviation Club's ANB Bank account. Engaging in such transactions SHOULD BE AVOIDED to ensure the appropriate handling of your payments and to prevent any potential overcharging.

If you encounter any issues or difficulties with your ongoing instructor, please kindly communicate with us, and we will be more than happy to arrange for another instructor to assist you.

Please note that flight schedules may be subject to rescheduling after payment in the following situations:

  • The aircraft is deemed unfit for flight at the scheduled time.
  • Weather conditions do not permit safe flying.
  • Security restrictions are in place.

If the payment transaction has already been completed, the flight will be rescheduled based on availability.

  • 3105 SAR (For non-members)
